Language Development

READING + STORYTELLING + SINGING + Talking = Language Development

These precious moments help develop a love for words and language.  Talking, reading and singing teaches expressive and receptive language, encourages listening skills, builds a bond between caregivers, and most importantly benefits brain development!

Learning to turn the pages at 14 weeks

Reading is the key that unlocks the door to learning…

Read short stories, ABC word books, board books, flip books, touch and feel books, long stories (depending on child’s attention), even reading apart of a book you are reading yourself.

Just do it; READ to your children!

Allow them to feel and touch the pictures and teach them how to turn pages. Reading with a child in your lap helps promote a loving attachment connected to story-time.
